Hunter Island Press (HIP) is a not-for-profit organisation with our primary objective to establish and operate a professional public access print studio in Hobart. The studio, located at Wirksworth House in Bellerive, provides a place for artists to create work and pass on our skills to the community. Membership, AUD$50 per year or AUD$30 for concession holders, allows for studio access and inclusion in HIP exhibitions. Members can also have a personal members gallery page on this website.
Our exciting new workshop calendar for 2012 is in motion already – it includes lino etching, polyplate lithography, advanced Japanese woodcut, working with ideas and an introduction to non tox etching John Robinson, Kaye Green, Michael Schlitz, Iona Johnson and John Ingleton.
