Dorothy’s work has an easy appeal. Using digital printouts she reworks the image with pastel and other mediums which draw the image back into the realm of a tactile experience. This is enhanced by the way she hansg the work, as the paper is adhered to a canvas frame giving a sense of painting.

The honours exhibition is in full swing for a couple more days with some fantastic print work on display. Iona’s project is an "…exploration of the unknown… I have investigated the inner wilderness; experiences based on body sensations and observation…" and she has developed an impressive collection of large scale prints which immerse the viewer into the moment of feeling your body sink into water. Her work grew from the experience of "…swimming in the icy cold waterholes on Mount Wellington…".
