The Rat Palace

The Entrepot Gallery at the University of Tasmania School of Art is hosting an exhibition at the moment by the Die Laughing Collective who are heavily into stencil art.  It seems to be all the rage for artists who have dominated the underground art scene with graffitti.  Jamin, Paicey, Empire, Homewrecker and Speck, feature int he show, but as the whole wall of the gallery forms one block of art work I couldn’t determine which bit belonged to who, which I suppose is an objective of the work.

The exhibition continues until February third and the gallery is at the front of the art school in Hunter Street near the wharf in Hobart.
