June Fourth - Print Sale
The Mini Print Sale is on in June at the Schoolhouse Gallery, Rosny Historic Centre! This is a fantastic opportunity to pick up some top notch art work at exceptionally good prices! All works are 21cm x 21cm, and the exhibition continues until June 25th. Proceeds go in part to the Hunter Island Press fund which is aiming at setting up a community studio in Rosny, hopefully by the end of the year, and the remainder is returned to the artist. Come along and enjoy the fun on opening night, or browse at a more leisurly pace throughout the exhibition period. The Schoolhouse Gallery has plenty of great parking space and is located near the Rosny Golf Course, behind the Eastlands Shopping Centre.

Please note that all prints are only $20 and this includes the work of some of tasmania’s best known print artists so this is a really great way to start or add to your collection.

[...] Today was a good day for Norty Pig with the acquisition of some new original artworks for the office. The opening of the Hunter Island Press Mini Print Sale was at 2.30 and this year we acquired two Milan Milosevic, two Karen Lunn and Abi bought an Anna Adams for her bedroom. That’s way cool at a mere AUD$20 a pop (look up the price of a Milosevic original print). So I’m sipping Wild Turkey and Coke and feel quite happy with myself. [...]
