Exhibition Opening
There was a good crowd pressed into the Morning Toast Gallery as Susan Pickering outlined the depth of community spirit and dedication Hunter Island Press has gathered together to achieve the goals of opening a community studio in the near future.
On show is the book which was produced during the Living Artist Week in August this year. Each page is a print produced in response to a line of text put forward by the Eastern Shore Writers. This was the first time some of us, including me, have had the chance to see the finished book, and it was worth taking a trip down to near the lovely Huon River to see it.
Morning Toast Gallery is at Glaziers Bay, at 156 Graces Road, about 45 minutes drive from Hobart.
