Fauzi, as we all know him, has been studying in Tasmania to complete his PHD. The title of his work, “Colour, Space and Environment: an investigation of repitition through the aestheticisation of consumer culture” gives a strong clue to the impressive scale and imapct of his work.
Taking up most of the Plimsoll Gallery (University of Tasmania, Hunter Street, Hobart) the exhibition is only on show for two days. The opening is on Friday night and you can have a browse through the rooms filled with bright, confronting, undeniable and poignant reminders of the consumer society we live in and its environmental imapact.
The opening is at 5.30pm, and the gallery is open from 12pm to 5pm.
