Reel Heroes - Safe Beaches Exhibition

reel heroes safe beaches invite

The Hunter Island Press exhibition of prints in the Reel Heroes - Safe Beaches traveling collection is about to fill the Moonah Arts Centre. This is a fabulous collaborative exhibtion (read more) with work from five printmaking groups from around Australia. The work celebrates the Year of the Lifesaver and the tremendous effort the men and women who volunteer for the job of patrolling our beaches make.

The exhibition opens on Friday evening (27th April) at 6pm and will continue until the 3rd of May. The Moonah Arts Centre is located at 55 Hopkins Street, Moonah. The exhibition will be open from 12.30pm to 5pm on weekdays (except Wednesday 25th), 10am - 2pm weekends and there will be members of Hunter Island Press sitting the gallery if you are interested in meeting the artists! Surf Life Saving Tasmania will also have a display and information about their activities and representatives will be available to answer questions on some days.
