Friends and Associates gathered to  view the work,  congratulate Mayu and  celebrate  this milestone on Friday 13 June

Using a combination of lithography, collagraphy and etching Mayu explores the impact of Tasmania’s culture and wildlife of her Japanese soul by combining elements of both in these beautiful images.

Mayu hope to produce and publish children’s books based on her images when she returns to Japan and will be investigating the ins and outs of the publishing industry before returning to her “other” home at the end of the year.

We wish both Deborah and Mayu every success in the future and hope that we will continue to see their work in HIP exhibitions in the years ahead
