Seventeen members of HIP are now exhibiting work at the Allport Library and Museum of Fine Art in Hobart

Each print is a response to a book about Tasmania, by a Tasmanian or published in Tasmania and cover a wide range of topics both historical and contemporary, fact and fiction, prose and poetry, adult and young adult.

The project was curated/managed by Iona Johnson who also designed the catalogue


Authors, Janet Fenton and Gina Mercer read excerpts from their books

and the exhibition was opened by Juliet Beale, Art and Music Librarian at the University of Tasmania

The exhibition continues until 22 September
