A big congratulations to Diane Foster for her recent win in the print/drawing section of the Clarence Open Art Exhibition currently on show at the Rosny Schoolhouse Gallery. This exciting work is part of Diane’s current research into the aesthetics of mining and industrial landscapes. The exhibition runs until July 30th and includes photography and painting along with print and drawing.

On the positive side there is an exhibtion on at the Sidespace Gallery at the moment – until Wednesday 21st – with several HIP members including myself.
Noel Frankham opened the exhibition with a wonderful introduction to the Tasman Peninsula and the artwork. You can see more of the work and read the artists staements on the Osmosis 08 website.
