The Town and Country Printers – Ginny Jackson, Rowena Bond, Susan Ferguson and Cath de Little – are exhibiting their work at the Eucalypt Cafe on the Arthur Highway, opposite Port Arthur, for the month of August.

These printnmakers are regular users of the HIP studio at Bellerive and it is good to see them taking up opportunities to get their work seen.
If you are down Port Arthur way drop in and see what the ladies have been up to.

You are invited to celebrate Linden Langdon’s exhibition opening for her Master’s assessment – come along and show your support!
Linden Langdon – Master of Fine Art – “Revealing Scars”, Plimsoll Gallery, School of Art, UTAS, Hunter Street – Friday 26 June 2009, 5.30pm (plus 27-28 June, 12-5pm).

A personal note from Linden’s website:
“Well finally the end of the race is in sight and while there are no ribbons to burst through it will be a celebration of completion, so if you are in the area I hope you have an opportunity to pop into the Plimsoll Gallery…There will be an installation of ceramic work, Beneath the Skin and an installation of the Precipice which has over 80 prints at 59 x 59cm in size. The prints are primarily etching with quite a few combining lithograph and etching. The support work will be in my studio space.
So there it is! An ending – or a beginning?”
Let’s all celebrate with Linden and enjoy the atmosphere of her relief, with the Masters journey behind her.
Cheers, Anita Wanless
