‘In Mind’ information meeting at the HIP Studio – All Welcome!

A meeting to get more information will be at the HIP studio on 21st September at 11 am.
In Mind will take place at the Ladies Cottage in New Norfolk. Hunter Island Press members are invited to visit the site and respond to it by making a small edition of prints which will be exhibited there in April 2025.
Members may also visit the Nurses Quarters and use both places as a source of inspiration for their images.
This project will run on the model of Frame of Mind which took place at Willow Court in 2022.
– There will be an organised visit with a guide to give the background to the place. We are also able to visit at any time by appointment.
– There are no restrictions as to the type of print to be made, but a small edition minimum of 3 prints is expected at this stage.
– Mental Health week runs from 9th – 16th October 2024 and we hope to officially launch this project at that time.
– Work will be exhibited at the 2025 Autumn Festival on site.
– There will be an administration fee of $25 if you participate.
In Mind at the Ladies Cottage, New Norfolk is a fantastic opportunity for HIP members to investigate this significant historic site. The raw state of the building is incredibly atmospheric, and it is a privilege to be able to enter the space and explore its history.
All members are invited to take part.
