I keep ruminating about seed; I begin to ruminate about site.

I keep ruminating about seed, site and place; I begin to ruminate about the fluid nature of time.

I make drawings and tapestries about commonly overlooked aspects of the natural landscape, my most recent practice responds intuitively to botanical subjects and materials through embedding plant matter in paper. These drawn works, influenced by seed as an object and metaphor, describe my sensorial experiential connection to land through an abstract language of mark making.
