I completed the Diploma in Visual Arts TAFE (printmaking) in 2015 and prior to that a Certificate 1V in Visual Arts at TAFE (2014). I am currently studying drawing at UTAS. Through drawing and printmaking, I am exploring the mystery, beauty, fragility and resilience of the natural world and human’s interconnection with it, as well as the unconscious human mind. I am fascinated by the repeating patterns in plants and animals and how we share so much DNA.

Recently, I read that scientists have discovered, hidden beneath the forest floor, a labyrinth of fungal connections which enable trees and plants to transfer nutrients and warn of invasive species, working much like the human brain. My print ‘No tree is an island is based on this’.
